If you would like to help translate 8sms into another language, please let us know.
Most of the strings (ie. sentences and words) in 8sms are already translated because they are from Google AOSP or Cyanogenmod.
We (and you as the translator) only need to translate strings that are added to 8sms.
The latest translations are available at:
This is updated at least once with each new release of 8sms.
The directory res/values contains the "native" english sentences. The other directories contain the translated values.
The translation "notif_more_messages" is explained as follows:

"%1$s more message"

"%1$s more messages"

"%1$s more messages"

"%1$s more messages"

If more than one new message is received, the messages are listed in the
notification, but only a maximum of 8 messages are listed.
If there are 9 new messages, then 8 messages are listed and there is a
line "1 more message". Example:
1 more message
If there are 10 new messages, then:
2 more messages
If there are 11 new messages, then:
3 more messages
... and so on.
There are up to four translations of plurals because some languages have four types of singular/plural forms. If the language you are translating into has only one or two types of plurals, you can remove the other plural types.
For more information, see Language Plural Rules.
